About the roles

 

Both positions will be based in the Centre for Evaluation and Methods, Wolfson Institute of Population Health, QMUL ( https://www.qmul.ac.uk/wiph/centres/centre-for-evaluation-and-methods )

 

Our centre has a thriving research portfolio across two UKCRC registered trials units (Barts Clinical Trials Unit and the Pragmatic Clinical Trials Unit), a Methodology Research Unit and a Health Economic and Policy Research Unit.

 

The first position will be principally within Barts CTU; the second will work principally across the Pragmatic Clinical Trials Unit and the Methodology Research Unit.

 

About You

 

We are seeking to recruit statisticians with interests and expertise that complement our existing strengths. Successful candidates will have a PhD in medical statistics or equivalent professional experience, a proven track-record of high quality research at a national and ideally international level, and experience of securing and managing research grants, as well as experience in the design and analysis of clinical trials, teaching and assessment at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level, and mentoring staff.
