The research associate will join a biostatistics team working with scientists to improve the efficiency of laboratory based research and preclinical studies.\u00a0 This will involve working on a mix of methodological and applied statistics alongside Professor Dawn Teare and Dr J\u00e9r\u00e9mie Nsengimana.<\/p>\n<p>The BRG is currently comprised of 26 statisticians working on a range of applied and methodological projects.\u00a0 This new role will support our expansion into preclinical and laboratory based research. Candidates are strongly encouraged to see further details of the group given at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newcastle-biostatistics.com\/\">www.newcastle-biostatistics.com<\/a>.\u00a0 The Biostatistics Research Group is part of the Population Health Sciences Institute.\u00a0 The Institute hosts several groups of methodologists, along with a National Institute for Health Research Design Service, and works closely with the UKCRC Registered Newcastle Clinical Trials Unit.
