The Institute for Applied Mathematics (IAC), Naples branch, at the
National Research Council of Italy (CNR) is seeking a qualified candidate
for n. 1 non-permanent position as researcher focusing on methods for
integrating omics and clinical data as part of the D34Health project.
Prerequisites:
\u2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Master’s Degree in Physics (LM17), Computer Engineering (LM32),
Mathematics (LM40), Computer Science (LM18), Biology (LM6), Biomedical
Engineering (LM21), Statistical Sciences (LM82), Medical Biotechnology
(LM9), or equivalent.
\u2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At least three years of experience in:
o<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bioinformatics analysis of second and\/or third generation sequencing
data (including single-cell) with applications in at least one of the
following areas: transcriptomics, epigenomics, genomics.
o<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Statistical methodologies and machine learning for high-dimensional data
analysis and integration.
o<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Scientific programming in R and\/or Python and\/or high-performance
computing.
\u2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Alternatively, a PhD relevant to the required experience.

Expected starting date: November 1, 2024
Duration 12 months, with the possibility of extension for another year
