We are thrilled to announce a PhD position at the Aging Research Center, Karolinska Institutet, as part of the project \u201cUnderstanding frailty towards a future of healthy ageing (UNION)\u201d, funded by the prestigious Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are looking for a talented individual with a background in statistics, biostatistics, data science, mathematics, bioinformatics, or similar fields to dive into a fascinating PhD project titled \u201cA complex system approach to the mechanisms of disease and function in old age\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What\u2019s the goal? To uncover how various aging biomarkers interact with one another and to establish links between these biomarkers and diseases, as well as physical and cognitive functional parameters, using advanced statistical methods within longitudinal networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
