The Medical and Pharmaceutical Statistics Research Unit is directed by Prof Thomas Jaki and undertakes collaborative research with the pharmaceutical industry and medical research institutes.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n The posts are offered for a three year period in the first instance and we are seeking researchers with an interest in adaptive and Bayesian methods for clinical trials. These posts offer the opportunity to develop an independent research profile and support for the post holders to obtain their own funding is provided. MPS is part of the MRC North West Hub for Trials Methodology Research (NWHTMR) and the network of Hubs (http:\/\/www.methodologyhubs.
