Research Fellow at Warwick Clinical Trials Unit Fixed term for 42 months Salary £34,866 – £45,163 plus £5,000 market supplement per annum
Warwick Clinical Trials Unit wishes to appoint a Research Fellow to work on part of the EU Horizon project Innovate designs, extrapolation, simulation methods and evidence-tools for rare diseases addressing regulatory needs (INVENTS) led by Professor Sarah Zohar (INSERM, Paris).
You will contribute to a work package of this exciting project led by Professor Nigel Stallard at Warwick Clinical Trials Unit and Professor Martin Posch (Medical University of Vienna) that focusses on Increasing robustness of small population confirmatory trials using validated and credible models.
Based at Warwick Clinical Trials Unit under the direction of the Professor Nigel Stallard, and in collaboration with the wider project team, you will undertake innovative research, using analytic and simulation approaches to develop and evaluate novel statistical methods. This will involve developing Bayesian borrowing methods and exploring incorporation of PK/PD or in-silico models in the adaptive design of clinical trials that incorporate data from related populations. You will also play a full role in the project, including attending project meetings.
