Dear all, I am looking for a PhD candidate in the field of psychiatric epidemiology at The Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm. The doctoral student will be involved in the project focusing on early-life environmental risk factors for Intellectual Disability, including biological and psychosocial influences. The overarching aim is to disentangle effects of different early-life environmental factors (e.g., maternal, and neonatal factors) on Intellectual Disability and identify at-risk groups needing clinical surveillance. The project will be based on large-scale longitudinally collected linkage of administrative and health registers along with the Swedish Twin and Multi-Generation Registers. We will use family-based quasi-experimental designs.
