The Computational Statistics group develops novel statistical methods, utilizing a rigorous mathematical framework, for medical and social studies.
To strenghten the group we are seeking to appoint a
Research Associate (m/f/x)
The appointment is available full-time (40,1 hours per week) for the project “Predicting individual responses to treatment of alcohol use disorder” or part-time. The post is available at the earliest possibility and is time-limited until 31. March 2028. The post is compensated following TV-L EG13.
Responsibilities
- Development of statistical mehods for estimating individual patients treatment effects
- Publication in scientific journals and presentation of the work at relevant conferences and meetings
- Teaching of practical sessions.
- Supervision of student project and theses (Bachelor- and Master theses)
Requirements
- Completed masters degree in Statistics, Mathematics or related field
- Willingness to work interdisciplinary
- Good written and verbal communication in English
