2003-2008: While at the MRC-Biostatistics Unit I was under the Unit’s “core funding” which covered travel expenses, computer equipment etc. Where possible I applied for additional funding, including a small (£ 135) monetary award for financial assistance to attend the 2006 Isaac Newton Institute Workshop on Stochastic Computation for the Analysis of Ecological and Epidemiological Data and a € 250 award for partial financial assistance to attend the 2006 Valencia / ISBA 8th World Meeting on Bayesian Statistics.
