The MIT Club of Greece is organizing a 3-day program focuses on practical understanding—how machine learning models work, how to evaluate their performance and limitations, and how to use AI tools effectively in real-world medical applications.
The seminar, hosted at the BRFAA facilities, has two parts. If you are interested, please register for each part:
• Opening Lecture & Networking Event – January 26. Register here.
• Hands-on Workshop (2 days, 6 hours total) – January 27–28. Register here
Please find attached more information on the event and the program.
The workshop will be led by Hara Moraitaki, a senior at MIT in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and an AI researcher specializing in machine learning applications in medicine and biomedical research. She has conducted AI-for-health research at MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) in collaboration with Mass General Brigham. She has led applied AI-in-health initiatives, including organizing MIT’s first Women’s Health AI Hackathon. She also brings teaching experience from both MIT and local high schools.

We look forward to welcoming you.
