PhD position working on heterogeneity in treatment effects (University Regensburg)

We are seeking applications for a 3-year doctoral position to work in the newly established Computational Statistics group in the recently founded Faculty of Informatics and Data Science at the University of Regensburg, Germany. The Computational Statistics group (https://www.uni-regensburg.de/informatics-data-science/computational-statistics/startseite/index.html) focuses on efficient study design and develops methods for heterogeneity in treatment effects.

In this post you will develop novel methods for identifying and evaluating heterogeneity in treatment effects and will also get involved in the teaching activities of the group.

Experience of teaching and programming skills using software such as R are desirable, but training on these aspects of the job can be provided. The post is offered for a three year period in the first instance.
