The Biostatistics Research Group in Newcastle University (www.newcastle-biostatistics.com) mixes statistical methodology development with application of high-quality biostatistics methods in medical research projects. We have strengths in methods for efficient clinical trial design and analysis and work closely with Newcastle Clinical Trials Unit to support the delivery of innovative clinical trials.
An opportunity is available for a Research Associate to work with me and other researchers in the group. The post is funded for three years by the NIHR Research Professorship “Transforming treatment of immune-mediated inflammatory diseases through better trials and evaluations”. The postholder will develop and apply innovative methodology for improving trials of chronic inflammatory conditions.
The post is available full time, fixed term for 3 years. The start date is flexible but ideally would be Autumn 2022.
Usual salary range at appointment: £31,406 to £33,309 (with progression to £40,927)
